Afghanistan: Suicide Car Bomb Kills Two U.S. Troops

In Afghanistan, a suicide car bomber rammed a NATO-led convoy near a
major U.S. base in Kandahar Wednesday, in an attack the Pentagon said
killed two U.S. soldiers. The violence came as the Pentagon seeks to
send another 4,000 U.S. troops to join 8,700 currently in Afghanistan.
