Paraguay: Police Kill Activist Amid Protests Against Vote to Remove Term Limit

In Paraguay, 25-year-old activist Rodrigo Quintana was shot and killed
by police on Friday night amid widespread protests in the capital
against a secret Senate vote to remove presidential term limits.
Quintana was killed when riot police stormed the headquarters of the
liberal opposition party and opened fire with rubber bullets. His
killing sparked protests over the weekend and the ouster of two top
officials.
