Utah Republican Congressmember Jason Chaffetz Not to Run for Re-election

In Utah, Republican Congressmember Jason Chaffetz has announced he will
not run for re-election in 2018. Chaffetz is the chair of the House
Oversight Committee. Meanwhile, House Republicans say they're nearing a
new proposal for a healthcare deal to replace the Affordable Care Act.
The deal has been brokered between the chairs of the far-right House
Freedom Caucus and the so-called moderate Tuesday Group. Infighting
between the two groups doomed the last Republican healthcare plan, which
was heavily backed by President Trump.
