Pentagon: U.S. Special Forces Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

Pentagon officials say a U.S. Special Forces soldier was killed in
Afghanistan over the weekend. The soldier, who has not been identified,
was killed Saturday night in Nangarhar Province. Pentagon officials say
the death came as the U.S. and Afghan military were carrying out a joint
operation against militants affiliated with ISIS in Achin district.
