Congress Passes Bill to Avoid Gov't Shutdown

In Washington, Congress has passed legislation to avoid a government
shutdown-only two days before the agencies were expected to run out of
money. The measures now keep the federal government funded through
December 9. The package includes $1.1 billion to respond to the Zika
virus and $500 million of aid for flooding in Louisiana.
