António Guterres Picked to Succeed Ban Ki-moon as U.N. Secretary-General
------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the United Nations Security Council has announced it's chosen
António Guterres to succeed Ban Ki-moon as U.N. secretary-general.
António Guterres is from Portugal. He led the U.N. refugee agency for a
decade. The Security Council will formally vote on his election today,
and then he'll face a full General Assembly election as early as next
week.
