Spanish Journalist & Author Ignacio Carrión Dies

And writer and journalist Ignacio Carrión died on Saturday from lung
cancer. Born in Spain in 1938, Carrión worked as a journalist for more
than 45 years, including in London, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.,
for El País and other outlets. He was also the author of more than a
half-dozen books. Carrión was the father of former Democracy Now!
producer María Carrión.
