Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio Loses Bid for Seventh Term, May Be Jailed

In Arizona, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio lost his bid for a
seventh term. Arpaio faces the possibility of jail time, after federal
prosecutors announced they are charging him with criminal contempt of
court over his refusal to end unconstitutional immigration patrols in
Arizona.
