Mother of Walter Scott Testifies in Murder Trial of Officer Michael Slager

In South Carolina, Judy Scott, the mother of Walter Scott, testified on
the first day of the murder trial of white former police officer Michael
Slager, who was caught on video shooting 50-year-old African American
Walter Scott in the back as he ran away. The jury includes 11 white men
and women, and one black man.
