Chelsea Manning Appeals her "Grossly Unfair" Conviction

Imprisoned Army whistleblower Chelsea Manning has formally appealed her
conviction and imprisonment, arguing her 35-year prison sentence is
"grossly unfair and unprecedented." Her appeal argues, "No whistleblower
in American history has been sentenced this harshly." In 2013, Manning
was convicted of passing hundreds of thousands of documents to Wiki
Leaks.
