NBC Passes $1 Billion in Ad Sales for Rio de Janeiro Olympics

The turmoil in Brazil comes just months before the Summer Olympics in
Rio de Janeiro. The television network NBC said Tuesday it has already
surpassed $1 billion in advertising sales for the Rio Olympics, putting
it on track to set a record for the most national advertising ever sold
for a single event.
