March 29, 2016 Argentina to Drop Funding for TeleSUR TV Network ------------------------------------------------ Argentina's new right-wing, pro-corporate government is cutting funding for the regional, Spanish-language television network Tele SUR. Tele SUR was launched in 2005 by a coalition of leftist governments, media outlets and movements, led by Venezuela under President Hugo Chávez.
