Tennessee Lawmakers Advance Anti-Transgender Bathroom Bill

And Tennessee state lawmakers have advanced a bill that would ban
transgender students at public grade schools and universities from using
bathrooms that correspond to their gender identity. Last month, South
Dakota passed a similar measure, but Republican Governor Dennis Daugaard
vetoed it amid nationwide protest.
