California: Authorities Arrest Heavily Armed Man Headed to LGBT Pride Parade

Meanwhile in California Sunday, authorities arrested a heavily armed man
who said he was heading to the gay pride parade in Los Angeles. Santa
Monica police, who responded to a call about a man knocking on a
resident's door and window, found James Wesley Howell of Indiana. In his
car he had three assault rifles, high-capacity ammunition and a bucket
with "chemicals capable of forming an improvised explosive device,"
police said.
