April 15, 2016 Workers Strike in Over 300 Cities in Record Fight for $15 Action ---------------------------------------------------------------- Low-wage workers across the country walked off the job in more than 300 cities Thursday, marking the largest action to date in the growing nationwide fight for a $15-an-hour minimum wage. The Fight for 15 has brought together fast-food and childcare workers, adjunct professors, healthcare workers and many more. Thursday's protests followed victories in California and New York, which have become the first states to enact a path toward establishing a $15-an-hour minimum wage in the coming years.
