Rep. Paul Ryan Enters House Speakership Race

Republican Congressmember Paul Ryan has formally declared for the House
speaker's race. Ryan confirmed his bid on Thursday after securing
support from the far-right House Freedom Caucus. Ryan had said he would
only run if he could be assured of wide support from divided Republican
factions. The House vote is expected next week.
