Obama Administration Unveils Proposal to Address Puerto Rico's Debt

The Obama administration has unveiled a plan to address the debt crisis
in Puerto Rico. The administration wants Congress to approve bankruptcy
protection for the U.S. territory, expand Medicaid and impose a control
board to oversee Puerto Rico's finances. It's unclear if Congress will
back the proposal.
