Ohio Halts Executions for 2 Years amid Drug Shortage

Ohio is delaying all executions until at least 2017 as it struggles to
renew its supply of lethal injection drugs. Ohio has been unable to
replenish supplies after European pharmaceutical firms began blocking
the use of their drugs in U.S. executions.
