Somalia: 14 Killed in Attack on Popular Hotel

In the Somali capital Mogadishu, the militant group al-Shabab has
claimed responsibility for an attack on a popular hotel that killed at
least 14 people. The militants opened fire and seized control of the
Sahafi Hotel after hitting the front gate with a car bomb. Among those
killed were a journalist, a Somali Army general, a lawmaker and the
hotel's owner.
