November 12, 2015 EU Issues New Labeling Rules for Products from Israeli Settlements ------------------------------------------------------------------- The European Commission has issued new guidelines for the labeling of products from the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories. Under the new standards, products made in Israeli settlements, which are deemed illegal under international law, must be labeled "made in settlements." Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposed the regulations.
