Spain: Catalan Parliament Votes in Favor of Independence

Parliament members in Spain's Catalonia region have voted in favor of
independence, approving a plan that would see them secede within 18
months. Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy vowed to oppose the measure
in court, saying, "Catalonia is not going anywhere."
