Chelsea Manning Proposes Whistleblower, Media Protection Bill

And the jailed Army private Chelsea Manning has proposed legislation
that would help future whistleblowers follow in her footsteps. The
National Integrity and Free Speech Protection Act would amend several
laws including the Freedom of Information Act and Espionage Act to help
protect journalists and their sources. Manning is serving a 35-year
sentence for leaking U.S. government cables to Wiki Leaks.
