U.S. Appeals Court Rejects Arkansas 12-Week Abortion Ban

A federal appeals court has struck down an Arkansas law banning abortion
after 12 weeks of pregnancy. The ruling upholds an earlier decision
against the 2013 law, which was among the most extreme abortion bans in
the country. In a statement, the ACLU said, "This law was about banning
abortion, plain and simple. Other states looking to pass similar laws
should pay close attention."
