Tea Party Favorite Sen. Ted Cruz Launches Presidential Bid

Texas Republican senator and tea party favorite Ted Cruz has announced
his candidacy for president. In a speech at the evangelical Liberty
University, Cruz rolled out an agenda which includes reversing
Obamacare, militarizing the U.S.-Mexico border, rolling back abortion
rights and same-sex marriage and strengthening support for Israel.

Sen. Ted Cruz: "I believe in you. I believe in the power of millions of
courageous conservatives rising up to reignite the promise of America.
And that is why today I am announcing that I'm running for president of
the United States. ... Instead of a president who boycotts Prime
Minister Netanyahu, imagine a president who stands unapologetically with
the nation of Israel."
