Japan: Police Arrest Man Accused of Threats to Bomb U.S. Embassy, Base

Japanese authorities have arrested a man accused of threatening to bomb
the U.S. Embassy and a military base. The man was detained on the island
of Okinawa, which houses about 26,000 U.S. troops. For decades,
residents there have protested the presence of the soldiers, citing
environmental concerns and sexual assaults.
