Exonerated Death Row Prisoner Glenn Ford Dies at 65

And the former death row prisoner Glenn Ford has died at the age of 65.
After three decades on death row in Louisiana, Ford was freed in March
2014 based on new evidence clearing him of the 1983 fatal shooting of a
jewelry store owner. Ford is African-American and was tried by an
all-white jury. He was one of the longest-serving death row prisoners
ever to be exonerated. The prosecutor who sent him to prison, Marty
Stroud, came out and apologized to Ford for his ordeal.
