Nicaragua: Thousands Protest Construction of Massive Canal

In central Nicaragua, thousands of people gathered over the weekend for
the latest protest against a Chinese firm's construction of a canal
linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The $50 billion project will be
larger than the Panama Canal and could displace up to 120,000 people.
