Haiti: Hundreds Protest Dominican Republic Plan to Deport Haitians

In Haiti, hundreds of people protested in Port-au-Prince on Tuesday,
calling on the Dominican government to halt the threatened deportations
of hundreds of thousands of Haitians living in the Dominican Republic.
Some also called for a boycott of Dominican goods.

Jean-Robert Argand, Collective of December 4: "We urge the government of
the Dominican Republic to respect the rights of Haitians and their
dignity. Also, we ask that they start to support our local products."
