U.S. Pledges $3.2 Million to Help Monarch Butterfly

The Obama administration has pledged $3.2 million to help save the
monarch butterfly, which has seen its population plummet 90 percent.
Research has tied the butterfly's decline to the rise in industrial
agriculture and genetically modified crops which destroy milkweed, the
monarch's food source.
