Pentagon: 100 U.S. Special Operation Forces to Be Deployed to Iraq

Meanwhile, the Pentagon says the new team of U.S. special operation
forces to be deployed to Iraq will likely include about 100 soldiers.
Army Colonel Steve Warren announced the troop figure Wednesday.

Steve Warren: "Of course we are not going to get into exact numbers, but
it will be probably around 100, maybe a little bit less, in fact, really
fewer actual trigger pullers, fewer actual commandos. It's really going
to be a majority of support personnel."
