Malaysia: Up to 300,000 Demand PM Resign over Financial Scandal

In Malaysia, hundreds of thousands took part in protests against Prime
Minister Najib Razak, calling for him to resign over a financial
scandal. Organizers said 300,000 people turned out to protest reports
the prime minister received about $700 million in his private accounts,
which he has said came from a donor in the Middle East. Najib fired a
number of officials critical of him, including the attorney general
investigating the financial transfer.
