Texas: Police Fatally Shoot Black College Student Christian Taylor

Meanwhile, in Texas, the FBI is investigating the death of 19-year-old
Christian Taylor, an unarmed African-American college football player
who was fatally shot by a white police officer in the Dallas suburb of
Arlington Friday. Authorities say that police shot Taylor after he did
not comply with initial calls to surrender during what authorities are
describing as a potential burglary at a car dealership. The officer has
been placed on administrative leave. Taylor had spoken out against
police brutality on social media. In a now much-circulated tweet from
late July, he wrote, "I don't want to die too young."
