Obama Admin Sued over Leasing of Land to Coal Firms

The news comes as environmental groups have sued the Obama
administration over its program of leasing federal land to coal
companies. The lawsuit demands the Bureau of Land Management conduct an
analysis of the environmental impact of the program, which it says
accounts for 14 percent of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions. The BLM has
never studied the program's impact on climate change.
