Turkey Attempts to Block Twitter, Causing Twitter to Erupt

Turkey has blocked the social media site Twitter amid a corruption
scandal facing the administration of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan. Erdogan vowed to "eradicate Twitter." But Turkish users could
still reportedly send tweets by text, and the hashtag #Twitter Is
Blocked In Turkey has exploded worldwide.
