Chicago Teachers Accuse Mayor "War on Educators" Following New Layoffs

The city of Chicago has announced the firing of more than 1,200 teachers
and support staff at public schools. It is the fourth time in the last
five years that Chicago has fired more than 1,000 people. In a
statement, Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis accused Mayor
Rahm Emanuel of waging a "war on educators."
