Egyptian Forces Break Up March Against Anti-Protest Law

Secretary of State John Kerry spoke one day after Egyptian forces broke
up a march against an anti-protest law that bars unsanctioned
demonstrations. Dozens of people were arrested as police used tear gas
to disperse the crowd. Solidarity rallies were also held in eight cities
worldwide.
