Report: U.S. Failing to Inspect 4 of 10 Higher-Risk Oil & Gas Wells

A new review has found the Obama administration is failing to inspect
four out of 10 new higher-risk oil and gas wells. The Associated Press
reports the Bureau of Land Management has been overwhelmed by a surge in
fracking and has not been able to keep pace with inspecting
high-priority wells, including those near national forests or fragile
watersheds. A former BLM field officer called the situation "a disaster
waiting to happen."
