43 U.N. Peacekeepers Captured by Militants in Golan Heights

Syrian rebels with the al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front have reportedly
captured dozens of U.N. peacekeepers serving in the Israeli-occupied
Golan Heights. Around 43 Fijian troops with the U.N. force have been
seized, and dozens more from the Philippines are said to be trapped. The
capture comes after Syrian rebels traded gunfire with Israeli troops at
a border crossing between Israel and Syria.
