Missouri Gov. Seeks 1st Black Cabinet Member for Law Enforcement Post

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has nominated former St. Louis police chief
Daniel Isom to the state's top law enforcement position, heading the
Department of Public Safety. If confirmed, Isom would be the lone
African-American member of Nixon's cabinet. His nomination comes in the
aftermath of this month's police shooting of unarmed African-American
teen Michael Brown.
