Japan: 39 Killed by Landslides amid Record Rainfall

In Hiroshima, Japan at least 39 people are dead and seven others missing
following flash floods and landslides caused by torrential rain. In one
hard-hit ward, a record of more than eight-and-a-half inches of rain
fell in a period of three hours.
