Brazil's Socialist Presidential Candidate Dies in Plane Crash

Brazil's Socialist Party is expected to name a new candidate for
president after the previous candidate, Eduardo Campos, died in a plane
crash on Wednesday. Campos had been running in third place in opinion
polls behind Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff and her top challenger,
Aécio Neves. His likely replacement, Marina Silva, is a former rubber
tapper who fought the devastation of the Amazon alongside Chico Mendes.
