Former Oil Exec Calls for Fracking Ban in New York

A former oil executive has joined calls for a ban on natural gas
hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, in New York. Speaking this week,
Louis Allstadt, a longtime executive vice president of Mobil Oil, said:
"Making fracking safe is simply not possible, not with the current
technology, or with the inadequate regulations being proposed."
