Report: Israel Issues one of Largest West Bank Land Seizures in Years

Israel has seized a new tract of land in the occupied West Bank. The
Israeli government has declared around 250 acres in a settlement block
south of Jerusalem as "state land." The Israeli newspaper Haaretz says
it is one of Israel's biggest land appropriations in years. The move
comes amidst U.S. efforts to salvage peace talks between Israel and the
Palestinian Authority.
