New Australian PM Vows to Cut Foreign Aid, Global Warming Initiatives

Australia has elected a new Prime Minister from the right-wing Liberal
Party after six years of governance by the more centrist Labor. Prime
Minister-elect Tony Abbott has pledged to cut back foreign aid, undo
measures to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, and crack down on
asylum seekers trying to reach Australian shores.
