California Lawmakers Pass Domestic Workers Bill of Rights

California lawmakers also passed the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights
which would make California the first state in the country to give
live-in workers the right to overtime pay if they work more than nine
hours a day or 45 hours per week. Governor Brown vetoed similar
legislation last year.
