Democrat Cory Booker Wins New Jersey Senate Race

Newark Mayor Cory Booker has won the special U.S. Senate election in New
Jersey. Booker, a Democrat, defeated Republican Steve Lonegan to fill
the seat left open by the death of Sen. Frank Lautenberg. Booker is New
Jersey's first African-American senator and the only elected African
American now in the Senate.
