Storm Kills At Least 100 in Somalia's Puntland Region

The government of Somalia's semi-autonomous Puntland region is appealing
for international aid following a tropical cyclone that reportedly
killed at least 100 people over the weekend. According to a government
statement, "entire villages have been destroyed and more than 100,000
livestock lost, endangering the livelihoods of tens of thousands of
local people."
