May 20, 2013 Sectarian Violence Kills Dozens in Iraq ---------------------------------------- Iraq is enduring some of its worst sectarian violence in months. More than 40 people were killed today when car bombings hit Shiite areas in the capital, Baghdad, and the southern city of Basra. At least 76 people were killed in a series of bombings on Friday, Iraq's deadliest day in eight months. More than 150 people have been killed in sectarian violence over the past week .
