NY Rep. Carolyn McCarthy Reveals She Has Lung Cancer

Democratic Rep. Carolyn Mc Carthy of New York has announced she will
begin treatment for lung cancer. Mc Carthy has been a leading advocate
for gun control after her husband was killed and her son wounded in a
mass shooting on the Long Island Railroad in 1993. She said Monday her
form of lung cancer is "treatable."
