North Korea Vows to Target U.S. With Nuclear, Rocket Tests

North Korea is vowing to conduct further rocket launches and a nuclear
test aimed at the United States. The North Korean government issued the
threat against what it called its "sworn enemy" one day after the U.N.
Security Council resolution tightened sanctions in response to a North
Korean rocket launch last month. The U.N. resolution was approved with
the backing of China, North Korea's lone major diplomatic ally. China is
calling for a resumption of six-party talks in a bid to defuse tensions.
